What is the Ph and is it basic or acidic ?
- [H3O+] = 4.33 x 10^-7
- [OH] = 3.33 x 10^-9
- pH= 12.3 [H3O+]=
- pOH = 4.46 [H3O+] =
- pH = -log(4.33 x 10-7 M) = 6.363, less than 7 so acidic
- pOH = -log(3.33 x 10-9 M) = 8.478. pH = 14 - pOH = 14 - 8.478 = 5.522, acidic
- [H3O+] = 10-12.3 = 5 x 10-13 M
- [H3O+] = 10-(14 - 4.46) = 2.8 x 10-10 M
Hope this helps!
