It looks like a hyperbola, the standard kind but rotated 45 degrees.
But your problem is a little ambiguous. Did you mean
y=-(-4/3x) + 8? or y = -4/(3x+8)?
Either way, it's a hyperbola at a 45 degree angle but with the 1st the undefined points are
x=0 and y=8
with the 2nd, they are
x=-8/3 and y=0
Plot a couple points, then try to fit a smooth hyperbola like curve approach those 2 lines. You should get 2 branches, one mostly in quadrant 2 and the other mostly in quadrant 4
