Hi Aveona!
When we are writing an equation in slope intercept form, the first thing we want to find is the slope. We know the formula for finding slope to be (y2-y1)/(x2-x1).
When we substitute our points in this formula we get (2-2)/(2-0).
When we solve this, we get 0/2 which simplifies to 0.
Now we know the slope.
We have to find the y-intercept. The y intercept is 2 because when x=0, y=2 (from the given point).
We can substitute it for the y=mx+b.
We get y=0x+2 which simplifies to y=2

- Have taken the class (and much further mathematics courses)
First take the two points you have provided and graph them
(2,2) and (0,2)
Notice how the 'y' value of each is the same (this means it's just a horizontal line at y=2)
Slope-intercept form is:
y = mx + b
Well, you know you have no slope (no curving of the function) thus m = 0
y = b
'b' could only be 2 since we know the y distance has to 2 units up for both points
y = 2
