TEST PREP and ACADEMIC SUBJECTS
Hi Ashley K.,
So, the question is asking whether or not you believe in God. This question is asked not to judge you, but to inquire why you believe a certain way at this moment in time. You may believe in God, not believe in God, or be unsure there is a God. In any event, you need to give your reasons for your way of thinking.
Which philosophies have shaped your current view? Were you brought up in a certain religion? If so, what philosophies of that religion have led you to believe in God? Were you brought up in a household that does not practice a religion, or is atheistic? How does that situation affect your belief in God? Do you believe what your family members believe, or something different?
Basically, you just have to state what you believe and give your reasons why. Not the easiest task for any of us.
Good luck,
Marion
