In this experiment you would have measured and recorded wavelengths. In a later question, you will be asked to convert wavelengths into frequency and energy. Why is it better to use E = hc/λ rather than f=E/h

In the experiment wavelengths are recorded. It will be better to use this equation of E=hc/λ , which relates energy "E" with wavelength, thus, E=hc/λ will be used to calculate energy. The values of energy obtained can be further used to calculate frequency.

f=E/h formula relates energy with frequency, which will NOT be used.
