Draw a right triangle with acute angle θ.
Label the side opposite θ as 4, the side adjacent to θ as 3. Then, by the Pythagorean Theorem, the hypotenuse is 5.
Then, cosθ = 3/5, sinθ = 4/5, and secθ = 1 / (cosθ) = 5/3.
By the way, the restriction on θ should be 0 < θ < π/2.
