In order to solve this problem, we need to determine how many electrons Boron has.
Remember that the number of protons for an element is equal to its number of electrons. So, using the atomic number of Boron, which is equal to its number of protons, we can determine that Boron has 5 electrons.
Now, in the Bohr model of an atom, the first shell/level of electrons can only hold 2 electrons. The second shell/level can hold up to 8 electrons. However, we only have 3 electrons left. Thus, there are 3 electrons in the outermost shell of the Bohr model of a Boron atom.
