connect the two points (0,L) = (0,33 1/3) and (P,0) = (41.44,0) with a straight line
Every point on the line is a combination of the two jobs that give $300 total
300/7.25 = 41.44
300/9 = 33.33...
7.25P + 9L > 300
He could easily work 41.44 hours per week, although it would then be full time
He probably couldn't mow his mother's lawn 33 1/3 times, at least not in a matter of a few months. Grass doesn't grow fast enough.
The boundaries are the x-axis, y-axis and the line 7.25P +9L=300. Although practical considerations of a maximum number of lawns or hours would limit it further.
Any point above that line, to the right of the y axis and above the x axis will get more than $300
Any point below that line, inside the triangle formed by the line, y and x axes will get less than $300
Any point on the line gets exactly $300
