A.) Was all of this mass loss due to the evaporation of water? Why / why not?
B.) Why did the higher temperature lead to this result ?

What sample is this? were there organic substances or only inorganic substances?
If the weight loss is greater than the amount of water, then it means there were substances that volatilized at temperatures below 300 C.
