Christian "agnosticism" (meaning, "I do not know") is not, according to Christian philosopher William Lane Craig, inconsistent with Christian faith. God cannot be known through the five senses, or empirically gained certainties. People generally tend to know things through the five senses or the necessity of certain logical and deducible propositions. One "knows" God through experience, not through physical senses or irrefutable logical propositions.
