Celia is a 16 year old who has just transferred to our virtual school. She played soccer and baseball when she was younger but has since been sedentary. Although Celia likes athletics but she does not want to play sports in high school. She is interested in improving her health and personal fitness but has not had much experience with working out on her own.
Celia thinks that her personal fitness levels are about average, but she has noticed that she tires more easily than she did when she played sports. She does not have much energy left by the end of the school day. Her goals are to lose 5 to 10 pounds to improve her cardiovascular fitness levels and to begin a regular weightlifting program. Celia could use your personal fitness expertise.
Here is the question I have,
Design a beginning physical activity and exercise plan for Celia. Prepare a detailed two-week, warmup, work-out and cool down program. Try to be as specific as possible when choosing activities and exercises. Use your knowledge and imagination to create a safe and effective personal fitness program.
