This is a common misconception and when building muscle, you do not have to lift weights every day to achieve muscle growth. Our muscles are very adaptable and respond well to weightlifting so make sure that you are following the recommended guidelines to build muscle. We use a term called "GAS" which stands for General Adaptation Syndrome which is our body's natural response to lifting weights. This physiological response occurs because our bodies respond to "stress" (i.e., lifting weights) and in this example, stress promotes the changes.

False, to gain muscle, heavier weights can be used, but in moderation, starting with lighter weights and building up to heavier weights. As you get to heavier weights, do three to four sets of 8 to 12 reps. These reps will done till failure. You do not have to lift weights everyday. Workout five times a week, with two days rest to recuperate your body and muscles, otherwise you will over do it and possibly break down your whole system, that could lead to injury.

False!! The external intensity is just stimuli to gain muscle mass and strenght, the most important factor are food and resting, without food there's no muscle growth and without resting either, they are the most important factors to develop muscle and strenght. when you were a baby every time you were sleeping you also were growing, and you ate to grow healthy, right? the same way but with resistance as an adult..08/23/22
