0.2 divided by 0.6 means 0.2/0.6. You can make a fraction out of it. That's what a fraction is, the numerator divided by the denominator.
then move the decimal point over, 0.2/0.6 = 2/6 = 1/3
if you multiply both numerator and denominator by the same number, the value remains the same
0.2 is 1/3 of 0.6
1/3 is what you get when you divide 0.2 by 0.6
or you could do it by long division, but be careful moving the decimal point.
0.2 divided by 0.6 is the same as dividing 2 by 6. If you do long division, you get 0.3333..... which is the same as 1/3

this helped me out alot but i found out that you can divide whole numbers and get what would in most cases would be a remainder does anyone know of good ways to solve and study this04/21/21
