Avogadro's Number tells us how many molecules there are in a mole of those molecules (6.022 x 1023 molecules/mole). It is also the number of atoms of, say hydrogen, in a mole of hydrogen atoms or how many puppies there are in a mole of puppies, or anything else.
So 0.310 moles x (6.022 x 1023 molecules/mole) = 1.87 x 1023 molecules
