A friendly college graduate who'd love to help with STEM classes!
I have some questions that will hopefully jump-start your thinking:
Is there something that is part of your everyday life that you find destructive? (For example, fossil fuels, single use plastics, or phone screens that shatter when dropped from a height of 2 inches) Odds are, there is some lab somewhere working on a solution.
Is there something you don’t understand or could be better explained? (For example, why some people can’t tolerate dairy and some can) Research is all about finding answers to questions and finding more questions when we think we have all of the answers.
Finally, is there something you’ve always wanted to know about? Will other people wonder about it too? Maybe research hasn’t started yet, but it should.
I don’t think there is one right answer to this question. So talk about something that interests you and affects other people’s lives.
