first set up 2 sets of parenthesis with x as the first term in each. Each sign must be positive in this case. For now, let's represent the second terms with a and b.
(x+a)(x+b)
The product of a and b must be 18, so the possibilities are:
1 and 18
2 and 9
3 and 6
The sum of a and b must b 11 and the numbers that fit that are 2 and 9.
(x+2)(x+9) is the answer, if you multiply it out you will get x^2+11x+18
