Slope intercept form is y=mx + b. In this equation, m is the slope and b is the y-intercept. Point slope form is y-y1= m(x-x1). In this equation, m is again the slope and x1,y1 is where you plug in points from the line.
To solve this problem, plug in the given point to both forms of the equation to solve for the unknowns:
2 = (2/3)*(6)+b
2 = 4+b
b= -2
so slope intercept form is y = (2/3)x -2
To find the point slope form, simply plug in m and the point given.
y-2 = (2/3)*(x-6)
Just a note, you can see that these two equations will give the same value if you solve the point slope form for y.
