Solubilty is simply a quantitative evaluation of how much (mass or moles) of a given solute will completely dissolve in a given amount of solvent at a given temperature. As you can see from the definition, the factors that would affect solubility would include: what the substance is, the mass of the substance, what the solvent is, the amount (usually volume) of the solvent, and the temperature of the system. {If the solute is a gas, the pressure of the gas would also be a factor.)
