This is a double substitution reaction, so the Ba ions bond with the SO4 ions, and the K ions bond with the NO3 ions. Therefore, the reaction equation is
Ba(NO3)2 + K2SO4 -> BaSO4 + 2KNO3
Nitrate (NO3-) salts are generally soluble in water, so potassium nitrate is actually present as K+ and NO3- ions.
Therefore, the precipitate formed is BaSO4, while the spectator ions are K+ and NO3-
