A penny farthing bicycle has front and rear tires with diameters of 140 and 44cm, respectively. If each tire is rotated 180degrees counterclockwise, what is the magnitude of the linear distance travelled for a point on each tire?

Note that the wheel dimensions are diameters so we need to halve them to find the radius.

180 degrees is half a circle so the wheels have rotated through pi radians.

To find the linear distance you just multiply pi by the radius for each wheel (you may need to convert to meters)
