The lengths of two any sides if known can be used to determine the sine, cosine, or tangent of the angles in a Right Triangle.

You can look up SOHCAHTOA online.

If you happen to know one of the angles, other than the 90° angle you can also determine a missing angle by difference since all the angles in a triangle add up to 180°
