A molecule that has a permanent separation of partial charge is called a(n)?

I do not know if i should write dipole or dipole-dipole.

Dipole Dipole usually involves two molecules, like two Hydrochloric Acid (gas) molecules interacting. Both Molecules have dipoles that will interact. Or two water molecules, that both have dipoles that will interact to give hydrogen bonding.

Just one dipole is usually referring to one molecule alone.
