first of all: graph it then choose A on the y = e^x and B on the line y = 1 C on the y = -2 ( A B C on the one line parallel y-axis)
A:(x,e^x) B: (x, 1 ) C: (x, -2)
V = Π ∫ (CA^2 - CB^2) dx ------> CA = (e^x+2)^2 CB = (1 -(-2)) ^2 = 9
V =Π ∫ ((e^x+2)^2 - 9) dx from x=0 to x= 1
