asked 01/16/20The table below shows the temperature (in °F) t hours after midnight in Phoenix on March 15. The table shows values of this function recorded every two hours.
- Estimate the value of T'(6). Give units in your answer.
- What is the meaning of T'(6)?
t | 0 | 2 | 4 | 6 | 8 | 10 | 12 | 14 |

You can estimate the slope at t=6 by using the values on either side:
t(4) = 70
t(8) = 73
Slope = (73-70)/(8-4) = +3/4
The slope (T') is simply the rate of change of the temperature as a function of time

So George, how can you convert a table into a graph, so that you can apply visual techniques or other math math as appropriate? And more importantly, why are the Times in the table given in Order (hint: Harry Potter??) -- Cheers, -- Mr. d.01/17/20
