you have 723 cases and is stacked 60 per pallet. So far you have 9 pallets, how many remain?

I'm having a hard time figuring what formula to use to even begin to answer this problem. If someone can help me out that would be appreciated thank you.

There are 60 cases per pallet

 

You have 9 pallets so you have stacked 9*60 cases = 540 cases

 

You have remaining 723-540 = 183 cases

 

These will need 183/60 = 3.05 or 4 additional pallets
