How to use the formula 1/2at^2+v0t+s0.

Please use the formula in this practice problem. A car travels at 2 ft/s and accelerates at a constant rate to 6ft/s. How far did the car travel and what is it's acceleration. Also, write a equation that gives the traveled distance after t seconds.

To answer this, we need to know the time it took to go from 2 ft/s to 6 ft/s. Is there any other information?
