asked 12/11/19How to use the formula 1/2at^2+v0t+s0.
Please use the formula in this practice problem. A car travels at 2 ft/s and accelerates at a constant rate to 6ft/s. How far did the car travel and what is it's acceleration. Also, write a equation that gives the traveled distance after t seconds.
1 Expert Answer
6 = 2 + (1/2)a*25
a=8/25 ft/sec/sec
s(t)=0 + 2*5 + (1/2)(8/25)*25
=10 + 4 = 14 ft
s(t) = s0 + v0t + (1/2)at2
Thanks for Arturo for asking for clarification.

To answer this, we need to know the time it took to go from 2 ft/s to 6 ft/s. Is there any other information?12/11/19
