Since pharmacy managers and pharmacists are most knowledgeable about pharmacy law and regulations while front store managers are most knowledgeable on company policy and procedures, a store manager needs to be able to maintain constant and open communication. Be able to guide and monitor pharmacy staff in terms of customer service and work ethics. Be knowledgeable about the kind of training and certification that's legally required of pharmacists, interns, and technicians as well as what the company requires. You also need to be supportive and responsive to the pharmacy staff's needs. When a problem arises that requires your attention, it will take both your skills and the pharmacy staff's to resolve it. So have good interpersonal skills is a must.
