Seventh-day Adventists are Christians… I don’t think they have their own scriptures, that is I don’t think their Bible differs in any real way from standard American translations… That is not true of Jehovah’s Witnesses, who have their own version of the Bible which is thrown together to fit their theology. E.g. “In the beginning was the Word , and the Word was with God and the Word was A God.... (implying there are more than one) ... I have read wonderful biblical scholarship and commentary by Adventists, like Uriah Smith… he was using the KJV for his comments... The adventists disagree about the day of the Sabbath, which is a seemingly unimportant detail, But they take their lifestyle seriously, which is good.
