how do you draw and solve this

nate and nick are doing yard work for every 2 hours nate works nich workes 3 hours . if both of them work for a total of 25 hours how many hours did nate work . i need an answer asap and how to solve it please

Nate works for 10 hours.

The simplest way to solve the problem is...

2+3=5

25/5=5

5*2=10 hours for Nate and 5*3=15 hours for Nick

Hi Maleeha--

 

Make one row named Nate and one named Nick. Make 2 dots for Nate, then 3 for Nick; 2 more for Nate, 3 more for Nick, etc, until the total number of dots you've drawn is 25. Then count how many of them are next to Nate's name.
