And i said 1000. But, the question said "power of 10", which is 310/18/19

I apologize. I wasnt meaning that you were wrong. Im still not grasping the steps to take to reach the answer.10/18/19

You simply factor the number using the largest multiple of 10 that will fit. 87 factors to 3 * 29. The remaining factors might be 100 and 10, but those can be combined to get 1,000. The next higher power of 10 is 10,000, and that is not a factor of 87,00010/18/19
