asked 10/12/19How to Calculate thickness
Hi,
I am a new Chemistry student, I want to understand how I would calculate thickness of a metal given these numbers. If someone could walk me through this problem so I can understand it as I move on, that would be great.
A piece of iron 5 31/32 x 15/16

You have only given the dimensions. In order to calculate the thickness, additional information is required such as the mass or volume. The density of the iron can then be used in conjugation with the missing information to calculate the thickness of the iron.
