If I am reading this correctly, you have 8 objects that are the same size and shape, but have different numbers:
Odd: 1,3,5,7
Even: 2,4,6,8
If you place them all in a container, you have 4 even and 4 odd so the probabiilty of picking an "odd" is 1/2.
To get the probability of 2 odds in a row, recognize that--after drawing the 1st odd number--there are now 3 odd and 4 even, meaning that the probability of drawing an odd is 3/7.
So, the odds of drawing 2 odds in a row (on the first 2 draws) is 1/2 * 3/7 = 3/14
