Average speed for 9km

Question

How long would it take for someone to run 9km. If the the first step they take is 1.01meters (in 35 seconds) and the second step they take is 1.03 meters in 40 seconds.

Hi there! So I'm a bit confused by the wording, but I'm gonna try to work with you to figure this out. I have question because with the info you've put down I can't solve this. Are we running at linear speeds that we need to add up the total time spent at each speed?
