You must use an equivalent, 1 L = 1 dm3 or 1 mL = 1 cm3 to convert the volume from L to a cubic dimension.
60 L x 1 dm3 /1 L = 60 dm3
Volume of a cube = length3 ; or length = cube root of Volume
length = cube root of 60 dm3 = 3.9 dm
