I rectangular garden is 45 feet long and has a perimeter of 150 feet. Roses plants are planted 3 feet apart. Find the area of The Garden

45=L Perimeter=2(L+W)=150 2L+2W=150 2(45)+2W=150 2W=150-90=60 W=30

Area=LW=45(30)=1350 square feet.

Rose plants' location seems irrelevant.

But if planted every 3 feet, then there are 45/3=15 rose plants length wise and 30/3=10 width wise.

With 15 times 10 = 150 total rose plants in the garden.
