Monomial, Sherri, is a polynomial with just one term. ax2, 5x, 7x5 are all monomials
here is a binomial x+1, 4x3+5. Mono=1, bin=2, poly=many.
You basically divide poly by a mono the same way you divide any number. If, for example, you divide 8x5+3x4+9, which is a poly, by 4x3 which is a mono, you would have
2x2+3/4x+9/4(x3) which is not any different from division of integers. Better refer to your test book for more. I hop this helped.
