Once upon a time there were three brothers. Anthony, the youngest, was the jocular one who was always smiling and ready with a joke. Sometimes, people accused him of being daft, but really he was just apathetic to most issues and preferred to live his life in a happy place. Andrew was the oldest. He was the introspective, aloof and frugal one. He preferred to live in his books and keep to himself, happy with a simple life with few material needs. He preferred to spend his earnings on books. Alan was the mercurial one. As the middle child, he vacillated between being pessimistic and optimistic. He was easily flustered when confronted and would become belligerent, quick to call others hypocritical if he felt any insincerity in their position. He was a musician, considered a virtuoso on the piano, for his ability to play anything by ear. As you can imagine, these differences in personality caused inevitable conflicts.
