The Merchant of Venice?

İs there any short version of the merchant of Venice to play? We are going to play it in our class but the problem is that the story is too long and we don't have enough time for all of it. I need a good short version of it. Thanks for helping!

I am reasonably sure that there isn't a shorter form of the play, but why let that stop you? If you take away the non-essential parts and keep only the essential elements that move the narrative along, you could do it yourself and end up with a fun class project, as well as something viable, and, perhaps marketable, for posterity.

Btw, I have had much experimental success in abbreviating certain works in the past.
