Hello,
There are a couple of ways you can accomplish this. The two easiest options would be:
- If you have a Gmail account, you can upload the document into Google docs, which will allow your to export it to a Word document; or
- If you are able to access your file using the software saved on your USB drive:
- Open the document and press CTRL + A on your keyboard in order to select all of the text,
- Press CTRL + C to copy the text,
- Open a Word document on the school's desktop and press CTRL + V in order to paste all of the text into the Word document.
If you find that the formatting is a bit off (which would be normal), press CTRL + A again. Once all of the text is selected, right-click with your mouse and select "paragraph." This will allow you to adjust the spacing and indentation you mentioned in your inquiry.
P.S. Deepfreeze has nothing to do with your ability to work on any documents. Deepfreeze simply reverts the computer settings back to its original state once you log off of the computer. It doesn't remember your history or passwords. However, these computers may have firewalls that may prevent you from downloading any software for the protection of the school's property.
I hope this helps. Good luck.
