Eq. 1 y = x2 - 7
Eq. 2 y = x -7
Set equation 1 = equation 2
x2 - 7 = x - 7
x2 - x = 0
x( x -1) = 0
So x = 0 or x = 1
When x = 0 y = 0 - 7 = -7
When x = 1 y = 1 - 7 = -6
The ordered pairs will be: (0, -7) ; (1, -6) . These are two points in which the parabola y = x2 -7 and the line y = x -7 intersect.
