No, nor would you want to do this. In every table, you should designate a field as the primary key field and sets its data type to AutoNumber. As you add new records, Access will automatically assign the next available integer value to the primary key field. For this reason, you would want them to be in primary key order and there should be no reason to insert records above. If you want to view your data in a certain way, create a query and order the data using the sort row.
