What is the function of NADP+(NADPH)?

My question has to do with Photosynthesis and I do not get the role of it in Photosynthesis.

NADPH is the from of energy that is produced during Calvin Cycle, it is the product of CO₂  fixation during Calvin Cycle which is the second phase of photosynthesis. The first phase is light dependent reaction. It is essentially a form of chemical energy that is produced by light-dependent reaction. NADPH supplies electrons for the Calvin Cycle (NADP⁺ ) that convertCO₂   into sugar/plant food /nutrition. NADP⁺  shuttle back into Calvin Cycle to regenerate NADPH.
