It depends on both the field of expertise as well as the type of graduate degree you would like to pursue! For instance, I am getting a Master's degree in Genetic Counseling, which is a 2 year program. Dental and Medical degrees are typically a 4 year program. However, someone getting a PhD is psychology may be in their program for 5-6 years.
