sodium hydrogen carbonate (baking soda) + acetic acid (vinegar) yields sodium acetate + carbon dioxide + water
The equation is balanced.
Therefore, the MOLAR relationship between baking soda and acetic acid is one to one. Therefore, if you use molar mass for each substance, you can calculate the proper number of grams of each.
