How important are Korean idioms and phrases for TOPIK exam?

I have been going through Korean idioms and phrases. Are idioms useful for topik exam?

You should not really focus too much about the idioms and phrases. Phrases are only practice of grammar and words but not really too much of anything else. I do not really recommend studying these too much but I would say the best thing to work on is reading and comprehension as well as writing. Since Topik does have a listening portion (I believe), you should also work your way into practicing skills in that as well.
