The ether expands by 1.6 milliliters for 1 liter (1.6 x10-3 x 1000ml), or 16 milliliters for 10 liters per degree Kelvin. For a temperature rise of 100 degrees Kelvin, the expansion will be 100 times that for one degree. Multiply 16 by 100 to get 1600 milliliters, ot 1.6 liters expansion of the ether.
