There is no one answer to this question, unfortunately. Some students decide to go to graduate school immediately following their undergraduate program, putting them around 21 or 22 years of age at the start of their program. Other students opt to work for a few years after graduating from their undergrad program and going back to school after a few years. Still others have a lengthy career for years before they choose to either shift careers completely, or go back to school for more training and a deeper understanding of their career choice. Short answer- graduate students can typically be aged 21 and up.
