No way Jose! The earth can be differentiated from the sun in many ways. Here are just a few:
1. The sun is a star, composed mainly of hydrogen and helium, carrying out fission reactions of
helium and hydrogen. The earth is not made of a few gases, but of over 96 elements.
2. The sun is composed of hydrogen and helium, and emits its own light. The earth does not emit its
own light, but rather is visible from outer space by reflected light (from the sun).
3. The sun is of much greater mass and size than the earth.
4. The earth rotates around the sun, not visa versa.
5. The conditions of the earth (temperature, percent oxygen in the atmosphere, the distance from the
sun, the earth's iron core, the existance of life on earth, etc.) are all fine tuned to support life, but
the sun is not tuned.
not so tuned.
