You wouldn't find it anywhere in the Bible. Covering one's head is an ancient tradition in Judaism (as well as in other religions). Initially, Jewish men used to cover their heads only when praying, as a symbol of piety or of godliness, that "reminds" or symbolizes the presence of God above for the believers. Later on, it became more common to cover one's head even when not praying. In this way, the Kippah came to be an almost universal symbol of Jewish identity.
