The strangest letter in the Latin alphabet is the consonantal I, in my opinion. The Latin alphabet does not have a j, so it uses the consonantal I to take the place of a j. The consonantal I is pronounced like a y, which makes it even more odd. An example of the consonantal I in Latin is found in the word Iuno. This is the name Juno, the queen of the gods. How do you pronounce Iuno? You know.
